I’ve had a few people on talking about cancer. It’s something I care deeply about because it has touched my life so deeply and in so many way. If you are going through cancer, my heart and thoughts are with you. If you know someone going through cancer, my heart and thoughts are with you.
It is so unpredictable and scary for everyone involved. Remember that you don’t have to okay 100% of the time. You don’t have to be brave all the time or put on a brave face for other people. It’s okay to say you’re struggling.
Being able to be honest and say when you’re struggling is a beautiful thing. It allows for deeper connections and relationships. Let others be there for you. Be there for others. That can’t happen unless you are honest. So be honest with yourself and with others.
And as always, be kind. Love others. Love yourself. You’ve got this.
