This comes up over and over and over again on the podcast. It’s because it’s important. Get help. If you’re struggling, please just get help. You don’t have to suffer alone or try to do it alone. You go through a lot of stuff, sometimes you have to deal with really big things, and it’s perfectly fine to ask for help.
In fact, it shows so much more strength and courage to realize and say that you need help.
One thing I want to bring up. Sometimes help doesn’t have to be a therapist. While that is ideal, I understand that circumstances just don’t allow for that sometimes. To you I will say this, talk to a trusted loved one. Read books. Start a gratitude and/or affirmation journal. Do things that bring you joy. Focus on you.
Do whatever you can to help yourself. I, unfortunately, have never been able to go to a therapist. I wish I could. But that’s just not something I can do right now. So I do my best to make sure I’m in a good space. I encourage you to do the same.
You are always worth your time.
